Partnership Announcement

Bellisio Team,

I am pleased to share details of a strategic partnership Bellisio Foods recently forged with White Castle, the iconic restaurant brand founded over 100 years ago. This partnership paves the way for creating exciting new growth opportunities for Bellisio, leveraging our core capabilities, strengths, and expertise with the famed White Castle brand.

A century in the making, White Castle has become a cultural phenomenon, attracting a large and diverse community of dedicated ‘craver nation’ fans that spans all demographics. In 1987, they entered the frozen grocery space with the introduction of White Castle Sliders, creating a whole new group of ‘cravers.’ Today, the White Castle brand has a strong consumer following across both their restaurant and retail grocery businesses, and the frozen White Castle Sliders can be found in all 50 states.

In 2022, we will be capitalizing on strong consumer snacking and eating trends via the launch of two exciting new product formats. First, we will be bringing another successful restaurant item to the frozen grocery space, [redacted]. This product will leverage both White Castle brand equity and strong consumer trends in chicken consumption. Secondarily, we will launch a high-quality, [redacted], utilizing our deep knowledge and experience in the snack category to bring crave-worthy innovation to the frozen snack aisle.

We signed the licensing agreement late last year, and since, the core cross-functional team has been working passionately to bring these new products to market as quickly as possible. I am thankful to everyone involved for bringing this new growth partnership to fruition.
