Restructuring Announcement
We are pleased to announce we are bringing together Overhill Farms in Vernon, California, and Bellisio Foods in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into one combined company. We will be reviewing and finalizing a new corporate identity for this combined entity in the coming months.
Our new company will enable us to offer both branded and private-label solutions to retailers and have best-in-class co-manufacturing and food service partnerships all under one company.
This restructuring will allow us to operate more cost-effectively by capturing greater synergies and efficiencies across our businesses. We will also focus on enhancing quality and customer service while safeguarding the proprietary contracts of our individual customers.
Effective immediately, Steve Young, Chief Executive Officer of Bellisio Foods, will become CEO of the combined company.
The new senior leadership team reporting to Steve Young is as follows:
[redacted], currently Chief Customer & Business Development Officer for Bellisio, is named Chief Growth Officer. His expanded role adds Marketing and Private Label Sales to his current responsibilities of Retail Sales, Trade Operations, and the Canadian business. We are eliminating the CMO role as a stand-alone position within the company. As a result, [redacted] will be leaving the Bellisio team. We thank him for his dedication during his time with the company.
[redacted], currently leading the Commercialization Team at Overhill, will continue to do so in her new role - and will work with [redacted]’s team to commercialize B2B-focused items. She will have added responsibilities for B2B Sales and Foodservice Sales, including leading the relationship for our important Panda Express business.
[redacted] will join the company as Chief Financial Officer. [redacted] comes from Whitehall Specialties, where he was the CFO since 2019. Prior to that, he had worked in Finance for Bellisio for 12 years. As part of this, [redacted] will be transitioning to a new interim role as Integration Lead, reporting directly to Steve Young. [redacted] will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our integration, identifying opportunities for better alignment, systems integration, reporting, and synergy.
[redacted], currently heading Human Resources for FSI, an Overhill subsidiary, will serve an interim role to lead Corporate Human Resources. She succeeds [redacted] in her role as Bellisio's Chief People Officer. We also thank -for her many contributions during her time with us.
[redacted], SVP R&D and Quality, [redacted], Chief Legal Officer, and [redacted], VP of Continuous Improvement, with all of Bellisio, will continue serving in their current capacities with responsibilities across the combined company.
[redacted] will continue in her role on Quality & Safety for our B2B business as part of our overall quality and safety initiatives led by [redacted]. She will have the added responsibility of Import & Export Business Development with CP Foods, reporting to Steve Young.
As we move ahead, we are committed to elevating our manufacturing and supply chain excellence and overall performance. To support us in this area, [redacted] will serve as Head of Operations for the Vernon site, [redacted] will serve as Head of Operations for the Jackson & FSI sites, and [redacted] will be responsible for Demand Planning and Inventory Management for the total organization. They will report directly to Steve Young and will work together to streamline execution.
In the coming weeks, Steve Young and the new Senior Leadership Team will provide more details on this restructuring design.
